ANAESTHESIA IN HAIR TRANSPLANTATION

The first step of the hair transplantation operation is the application of local anaesthesia. First, the donor area where the healthy hair follicles will be extracted from, second, the transplantation area are exposed to local anaesthesia. Injection is applied for 30 to 60 seconds. The patient does not feel anything other than the pain felt when the injector contacts the skin. Application of anaesthesia is obligatory in order not to feel any pain during the hair transplantation operation.
